PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an elastic body roller used to supply toner to a developer carrier and also recover the toner served for development from the developer carrier so as to obtain the elastic body roller by which the toner served development, which is left on the developer carrier, is appropriately separated, new toner is appropriately supplied to the developer carrier, also a situation that the toner is stressed and deteriorated is restrained, and further the toner is appropriately made to circulate to stably perform excellent development. SOLUTION: The elastic body rollers 40A and 40B where an elastic body layer 42 is formed on the outer periphery of a rotary shaft 41 provided with spiral feed blades 42a to 42c on the outer periphery of a shaft center 41a are used, and they are arranged to be opposed to a developer carrier 2 in the main body 1 of the developing device.
