摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm clamp mechanism for a tape lapping device, which has a drastically increased flexibility of rotational speed of an eccentric shaft of a workpiece, and can achieve micro-finishing with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The arm clamp mechanism has a rocking body 9 rockably supported by a rocking shaft 7 arranged on a column 64 which is axially movably arranged in a machine body 6; an arm clamp shaft 10 axially movably arranged in an axial hole 12 formed in the rocking body 9; and a drive unit 15 supported by the machine body 6, and having a pressing surface 14 for pressing one end 13 of the arm clamp shaft 10. When the one end 13 of the arm clamp shaft 10 is pressed by the pressing surface 14 of the drive unit 15 to close a pair of arms 16, 16 for fixing shoe assemblies 5, 5, the pressing surface 14 of the drive unit 15 recedes from the rocking body 9 and the one end 13 of the arm clamp shaft 10 to be separated from the arm clamp shaft 10.
