PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant device for which the development of application software is easy. SOLUTION: When receiving a request addressed to a DB CG 142 from a web browser 130, an HTTP server 140 directs the DB CGI 142 to execute a retrieve process. DB CGI 142 which received the direction performs the retrieve process through a DBMS 151 according to the direction, creates a response massage (for example, an HTML document) according to the process result, and supplies it to the HTTP server 140.
