PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new container box for an electrophotographic photoreceptor, the box capable of suppressing exposure of the electrophotographic photoreceptor housed therein. SOLUTION: The container box for the electrophotographic photoreceptor to house the electrophotographic photoreceptor has a such structure that the base edge 21f of a flap 21 is formed along the entire length of an edge 2c of a wall part 2 and that notches 21A, 21B are formed at the side edges 21a, 21b of the flap 21, respectively, each notch extending from the tip edge 21e of the flap 21 to a position X in the tip edge 21e side of the edge 2c.
