PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet where a treatment tank provided for the purpose of performing microbial breakdown treatment of organic wastes can easily be attached and detached. SOLUTION: In the toilet 1 where a breakdown treatment part for performing the microbial breakdown treatment of the organic wastes is provided, the breakdown treatment part is composed of the treatment tank 20 and a porous material 22 provided in the treatment tank 20, and the treatment tank 20 has a treatment tank main body part 21 capable of housing the porous material 22 and a urine receiving part 30 provided over the treatment tank main body part 21.
