A tree trunk is fastened in a storage vessel with two or more fastenings so that it is stable and the end of the tree-trunk does not project into water in the vessel so as to avoid rotting in the tree-trunk or putrefied water in a biotechnical air humidifier. A pump feeds the water from the storage vessel through a hose-pipe in/on the tree-trunk towards the top of a tree-fern.
