PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous robot which can, among autonomous robots for providing explanation of a device, especially perform demonstration of actual operation of an electronic device having keys and which can promote understanding of the function and operation method of the device and, as a result, can fully inspire customer's willingness to purchase when installed in a store or the like. SOLUTION: The demonstration robot 1 detects installation of a label printer 100 with a touch sensor 36 arranged in an installation section 5, identifies the model of the label printer 100 with a CCD camera 37, and corrects the position of the label printer 100, determines demonstration content data on the basis of the result of model identification of the label printer 100, operates the keyboard of the label printer 100 on the basis of the demonstration content data with a left arm 3 or a right arm 4, and performs demonstration of reproduction of voice data concerning the operation of the keyboard.
