PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin bond grinding wheel, maintaining heat resistance, and also increasing the abrasive grain holding force. SOLUTION: A metal coating 2 is applied to the peripheries of abrasive grains 1, and a filler 3 is added to the inside of a binder. The metal coating 2 is formed of copper simplex, an alloy containing copper or titanium. The filler 3 is formed of copper simplex, an alloy containing copper or titanium. The metal coating 2 and the filler 3 are sintered at a temperature ranging from 300 to 600°C. The grain size of the filler 3 is from 5 to 90% of the grain size of the abrasive grains 1.
