PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting cartridge and a cutting tool, having excellent surface roughness and machining accuracy of work machined surface, attaining long life of a cutting blade and a cartridge, and improving the work efficiency of cutting. SOLUTION: A plurality of cutting cartridges 1 are fitted to the cutting tool and used for cutting the surface of the work. The cartridge includes: a cartridge body part 2 fitting to the work facing side of the cutting tool through a first fitting screw 7; the cutting blade 3 fitted to the cartridge body part 2 through a second fitting screw 8; and an adjusting mechanism 4 provided on the cartridge body part 2 to adjust the projection amount of the cutting blade 3 from the cartridge body part 2 toward the work, wherein the adjusting mechanism 4 includes an adjusting screw 5 for pressing the cutting blade 3 to the work side; and an adjusting hole 6 formed in the screw hole 6b so that an enlarged diameter part 6a having a bore diameter larger than the outside diameter of the second fitting screw 8 is formed by a predetermined length from the inlet side of the screw hole 5b.
