The coupler features a step portion having an annular groove for positioning a sealing structure for providing a sealing connection between the jacketed hose assembly and corresponding jacketed hose systems. A cylindrical flange surrounds the coupler and secures the coupler to the corresponding jacketed hose system.</p>
