The electrohydraulic servo steering arrangement has a pump for generating an auxiliary force whose pump flow or revolution rate is controlled. The pump revolution rate can be controlled in a combined manner either by the steering rate signal it receives or by a power or current demand. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling a pump's revolution rate.
