<p>The equipment (E a) has a negotiation unit receiving, from a mobile host, a neighbor solicitation message comprising a digital signature obtained using a private key associated to a public key, an Internet protocol address of the host and a certificate signed by a certificate authorizer. The negotiation unit has a control unit verifying the authorizer signature, and then verifying the digital signature and the address using the public key received in the certificate, to authenticate the host. The control unit modifies an access control list of authorized hosts based on the authentication. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling the access of mobile hosts to a communication network through an access equipment.</p> |
