<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DVD-R etc. capable of more surely and exactly recording information in the DVD-R etc. by performing recording processing of the information in a recording mode optimized corresponding to each DVD-R etc. even in the case of performing the recording processing to many kinds of DVD-R etc. <P>SOLUTION: In the DVD-R 1 in which the information is recorded by an information recorder, drive identification information for identifying the information recorder and parameter information corresponding to functions of the information recorder are preliminarily recorded.
