A light emitting device for a rotating body is provided to firmly install a light emitting case although the diameter of a rotary shaft is different, by installing a flexible shaft contact member between the light emitting case and the rotary shaft. In the rotating body having a rotary shaft rotatably fitted to the outside of a fixed shaft settled to a moving vehicle body, a rim positioned at the outside of the rotary shaft in a concentric circle, and plural ribs connected among both ends of the rotary shaft and the rim in zigzag, the light emitting device is composed of a ring-shaped light emitting case(110) fixed between the outer center ribs of the rotary shaft; plural light emitting diodes(105) installed from the inside of the light emitting case to the outside; a battery receiving unit(111) formed at the inside of the light emitting case to apply DC(Direct Current) power to the light emitting diodes; a PCB(Printed Circuit Board,112) disposed at the lateral side of the battery receiving unit to control an emission pattern of the light emitting diodes; a switch(113) installed between the battery receiving unit and the PCB to turn on or off power and exposed out of the light emitting case; and a filler fixed in the light emitting case to fix the position of the light emitting diode.
