<p>A method for handoff of an MM-MB terminal located in a WCDMA network to a CDMA 2000 1X private network via a CDMA 2G Network is provided to confirm whether the CDMA 2000 1X private network exists through an SIB 13(System Information Block 13) message transmitted from the WCDMA network if a CDMA 2000 1X private network entry request is received from the WCDMA network and if so, enable the MM-MB terminal to receive a mobile communication service by performing handoff to the CDMA 1X private network via the CDMA 2G network, thereby solving a problem that the MM-MB terminal can not continuously receive a service provided through the existing WCDMA network according as the MM-MB terminal is connected to the CDMA 2000 1X private network after terminating connection with the WCDMA network. A method for handoff of an MM-MB terminal located in a WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) network to a CDMA 2000 1X private network via a CDMA 2G(2nd Generation) Network comprises the following steps of: receiving an entry command into the private network and a system parameter message from the WCDMA network(S510); by using a base station identifier of the system parameter message, confirming whether the WCDMA network and the private network are overlaid(S520); if so, receiving target network information for entry into the CDMA 2G network(S530); performing location registration of an MM-MB(Multi Mode-Multi Band) terminal in the CDMA 2G network according to the target network information, and receiving private network information for entry into the private network from the CDMA 2G network(S550,S580); and receiving a mobile communication service by performing the handoff into the private network according to the private network information(S590).</p> |
