<p>A vehicular control system (CON) comprises a starting clutch (5), which is provided between an engine (ENG) and driving wheels (DRW) for engagement and disengagement, a clutch control unit (70), which adjusts the engaging force of the starting clutch (5) in correspondence to the conditions of the vehicle for adjusting the ratio of the power transmission from the engine (ENG) to the driving wheels (DRW), and a traction control unit (100), which, if there is a slip at the driving wheels (DRW), executes a control for reducing the slippage by adjusting the power of the engine (ENG). The clutch control unit (70) executes a control for setting the engaging force of the starting clutch (5) larger while the traction control unit (100) is controlling the power of the engine (ENG) than otherwise.</p> |
