A fluid transfer apparatus 16 comprises a housing 18 for mounting in a hole 10 formed in a wall 2 and a fluid transfer device pipe 22 which is telescopically mounted in the housing 18 so that it may be displaceable between a retracted position in the housing and a projected position where the pipe projects from the housing. The device may be attached to a fluid transfer nozzle. Also disclosed is a circular fluid transfer pipe mounted in a wall and containing a fluid control valve, a method of forming a stepped diameter hole in a wall, and a method of mounting a fluid transfer pipe in a wall. |
