A percussion recognition system of a small arm is provided to recognize the percussion of a blank cartridge by using an exhaust gas to improve reliability and to prevent accidental firing. A percussion recognition system of a small arm comprises a gas pressure switch(9). The gas pressure switch generates a signal for recognizing percussion of a blank cartridge depending on a gas pressure generated due to explosion of gunpowder. The gas pressure switch includes a switch main body(11), a stationary terminal(29), a movable terminal(31), and a movable rod(23). The switch main body is mounted on a chamber of the small arm. The stationary terminal is installed at a first stationary frame and a base fixed to one side of the switch main body. The movable terminal is installed at a second stationary frame installed in the switch main body. The movable rod is assembled to a spring to bias the movable terminal to the stationary terminal.
