The device has a control module (MC) for controlling the homogeneity of a formula defining an indicator and consisting of quantities selected from variables and parameters and combined by operators, in terms of units and semantics, by a data representing units of quantities and semantics of the quantities, after receiving the formula. The control module corrects heterogeneities by considering the data, in order to supply a corrected formula which is homogeneous in terms of unities and/or semantics, in the event of the detection of heterogeneity.
