The aircraft has a weapons bay (10). An equipment container (2) is provided which is applied into the weapons bay. The container has a mounting system for fastening a suspended bomb (12, 14). The container is provided with electrical and or optical connecting mechanisms which can be uncoupled in the weapons bay, such as a bomb suspension tower.
