PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which is capable of suppressing liberation of silica particles or titanium oxide particles and maintaining uniform electrostatic chargeability for a long period of time and which has excellent fluidity. SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by externally adding to toner particulates: negatively charged silica particles, the titanium oxide particulates, and the positively charged silica particles in this order; or the negatively charged silica particles, the titanium oxide particulates, the positively charged silica particles and particles consisting of a long chain fatty acid or its salt in this order; or the negatively charged silica particles, the titanium oxide particulates, the positively charged silica particles and the particles consisting of the long chain fatty acid or its salt in this order.
