The method involves producing two data streams of digital partial images (3, 4). The digital partial images of a digital frame (1) are assigned to the two data streams. The two data streams of the digital partial images are transferred to a high definition (HD)-recorder by an interface. The transferred digital partial images that are separated from each other with a number of pixels are stored in the HD-recorder. An independent claim is also included for a digital image detection unit.
