A street light lamp is provided to reduce power consumption in comparison with a conventional discharge lamp and lamp exchanging cost by using an LED(Light emitting diode) lamp with a long life span. In a street light lamp(100), a power unit(110) converts AC power into DC power of high efficiency. A power control circuit unit(120) controls the power unit(110) according to lamp on/off signals inputted from the outside, and outputs a control signal into the power unit(110) to make the power off when detecting abnormal temperature. A light output unit(140) is composed of high output of white and yellow LEDs. A light output detecting unit(150) detects a light output state of the light output unit(140). And, a temperature detecting unit(160) detects temperatures of the light output part(140) and surroundings. A light output control unit(130) provides driving power for turning on the LED of the light output unit(140) by receiving the DC power from the power unit(110), and controls the light output of the light output unit(140) by receiving detection signals of the temperature detecting unit(160) and the light output detecting unit(150).
