A STORAGE WAGON FOR BULK MATERIAL

A storage wagon (1) for bulk material (16) consists of a loading container (5), mobile on on-track undercarriages (2) and comprising a bottom conveyor belt (6) extending in the longitudinal direction of the wagon, which has a transf er conveyor belt (10) adjoining the bottom conveyor belt. The transfer conveyor belt (10) projects over a front end (12) of the wagon for transferring store d bulk material (16) onto a preceding, further storage wagon (1). Provided in the loading container (5) is a sensor device (20) for detecting the filling stat e, the sensor device being arranged in the rear end (19) of the loading container ( 5) with regard to a transporting direction (8) of the bottom conveyor belt (6). The sensor device (20) serves for detecting a maximum loading height (h) of a dump cone (18) formed by the bulk material (16) discharged by the transfer conveyor belt (10) of a storage wagon (1) following behind. The sensor devic e (20) is connected to a control device (23) for automatic actuation of drives (7,13) of the bottom- and transfer conveyor belt (6,10).
