A steel front door of an apartment house having a flexible gap sealing function is provided to overcome disadvantages of a conventional steel front door having great surface strength but minor flexibility and cushioning function. A steel front door of an apartment house, having a flexible gap sealing function and including a door frame(300), a door(400), a lock(200) and a handle, further comprises a first gear(120), a second gear(130), a rotation disc(140), a crank arm(150), and a linker(160). The first gear is pivoted upon a handle axis(110). The second gear is rotatably fixed to the door through a rotation axis, and rotated in mesh with the first gear. The rotation disc is coaxially fixed with the second gear. The crank arm having a stick shape is pivotally fixed to the rotation disc by one end thereof. The linker includes a support bar(162) pivotally fixed by one end thereof to the other end of the crank arm, a plurality of connection bars(163) connected to the other end of the support bar, a connection rod(164), and a sealing member(165) made of synthetic resin and moved upward and downward along with the connection bar and the connection rod. |
