A composition for controlling plant pathogens comprising ATP(adenosine triphosphate) as an effective ingredient is provided to lower the effective concentration of the composition, and avoid environmental pollution or side effects such as production of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The composition for controlling plant pathogens comprises ATP or its derivatives as an effective ingredient, wherein the ATP derivative is ADP(adenosine diphosphate), AMP(adenosine monophosphate) or adenosine. The composition has a formulation selected from wettable powder, water dispersable granule, aqueous suspension, liquid, soluble powder and soluble granule, and the plant disease is root rot, leaf soft rot, leaf wilt and blights.
