FIELD: feed production industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes introducing into feed of vitamin-pigmenting additive, wherein as additive pumpkin pulp is used. Said additive is obtained by fermentation with cultural liquid of lactic acid bacteria and is conserved with benzoic acid in the next component ratio (mass % per 1000 kg of pumpkin pulp): cultural liquid of lactic acid bacteria 0.3-0.5 % benzoic acid 0.2-0.3; and is introduced into feed in amount of 5-7 % based on feed mass before feeding. ^ EFFECT: decreased cost of broiler chicken production; environment friendly feed; increased quality of chicken meat. ^ 2 tbl
