FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in stalk crop harvesting machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: harvesting machine has at least one rotating endless conveyor for transportation of gripped mown mass, said conveyor defining at its end part zone for feeding of mown mass to grinder inlet opening. Endless conveyor has cutting surface for mass to be mown, said surface embracing transportation-guiding members oriented outside and at least one stepped cutting knife positioned under transportation-guiding members. Cutting knife has cutting sections arranged along direction of movement of transportation-guiding members and extending outside in inclined position. Cutting sections are provided with cutting members. Step is provided between two adjacent cutting sections. Stepped cutting surface allows stalk crop mass to be mown along the entire length of cutting edges. ^ EFFECT: prolonged service life of cutting knives and transportation-guiding members. ^ 5 dwg |
