FIELD: metallurgy industry; mining industry; other industries; methods of purification of the oily waste waters and the phase separation. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for hydroclassification of the sediments according to fineness with simultaneous washing of the thickened sand fractions and may be used in metallurgy industry, mining industry and other industries. The hydrocyclone contains: the cylindrical section and the conical section; the tangentially mounted feeding connection pipe; the upper unloading connection pipe for withdrawal of the small fractions and the lower unloading connection pipe for withdrawal pf the sand fractions; the holes in the wall of the conical section for delivery of the washing liquid. The conical section has the outer casing with the union for delivery of the washing liquid. The holes in the wall of the conical section are arranged along the screw-shaped line untwisting downwards in the direction of the rotating stream of the sands. The channels of the holes in the wall of the conical section are arranged tangentially to its inner diameter coinciding with the direction of the rotating stream of the sands. At that in a vertical plane the inclination of the holes is directed downwards coinciding with the direction of the sands motion towards the lower unloading connection pipe. The conical section of the hydrocyclone consists of two or more parts with the similar angle of conicity. The inlet holes are located in the lower part or the previous parts.
