The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a cable clamp which is generally symmetrical about a central vertical plane; the cable clamp has an upper clamp section and a lower clamp section; the upper clamp section is circular in plan view and has a central circular opening therein having a generally beveled edge which merges into a smooth outwardly and downwardly curved surface extending from the circular opening to an outer edge of the upper clamp section; the upper clamp section has a downwardly and inwardly extending beveled lower edge; the beveled lower edge has a pair of diametrically positioned front and rear semi-circular notches therein which are situated opposite corresponding semi-circular notches in the beveled upper edge of the lower clamp section; a pair of generally identical small protuberances having domed outer surfaces are situated on the outer edge of the curved surface of the upper cable section adjacent the semi-circular notches; a circular inner surface is situated beneath and inalignment with the central circular opening; the circular inner surface has a pair of spaced-apart elements having adjacent flat and generally parallel inner surfaces and downwardly and outwardly inclined outer surfaces;the lower clamp section is circular in plan view and has a central circular recessed area therein; the central circular recessed area has a generally beveled edge which merges into a smooth outwardly and upwardly curved surface extending from the central circular recessed area to an outer edge of the lower clamp section; the lower clamp section has a upwardly and inwardly extending beveled upper edge; the beveled upper edge has a pair of diametrically positioned front and rear semi-circular notches therein which are positioned opposite corresponding semi-circular notches in the beveled lower edge of the upper clamp section; a pair of generally identical small protuberances having domed outer surfaces are situated on the outer edge of the curved surface of the lower cable section adjacent the semi-circular notches; the central circular recessed area has a central flat inner surface having a pair of spaced-apart generally identical rectangular openings therein; a continuous curved surface extends between the flat bottom surface and the inner edge of the inwardlyextending beveled upper edge of the lower clamp section.In an open position, the downwardly and inwardly extending beveled lower edge of the upper clamp section is spaced apart from the upwardly and inwardly extending beveled upper edge of the lower clamp section. In a closed position, the downwardly and inwardly extending beveled lower edge of the upper clamp section is adjacent to the upwardly and inwardly extending beveled upper edge of the lower clamp section, the complementary beveled edges defining a generally v-shaped circumferential groove between the upper and lower clamp sections.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front perspective view from above and the left of the design of a cable clamp in an open position;Fig. 2 is a front perspective view from below and the left of the design of the cable clamp in an open position;Fig. 3 is a front elevation view thereof in a closed position;Fig. 4 is a side elevation view thereof in a closed position;Fig. 5 is a top plan view thereof; andFig. 6 is a bottom plan view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included. |
