The rod has a cylindrical diaphyseal part (1) mounted on a metaphyseal part (2) with median section in a sagittal plane. The part (2) forms a foundation for implantation of a prosthetic neck (3) whose axis forms in the plane a determined angle with an axis of the part (1). The section assigns shape of an arc of circle (2a) which extends till inflection point (I) where the arc is connected by tangency to an arc of circle (1a) which constitutes a median plane of the part (1). The arcs have a common tangent (T) forming an angle (B) equal to 8 degrees with respect to the sagittal plane.
