摘要 PURPOSE: A gas separation process using pressure swing adsorption for remarkably increasing capacity of the separation process is provided. CONSTITUTION: The large-scale pressure swing adsorption processes comprises the steps of transferring the gas mixture to the single train pressure swing adsorption zone, and removing product gas stream including non-adsorption gas and waste gas stream including adsorption gas as a method for separating non-adsorption gas from a gas mixture including non-adsorption gas and adsorption gas from a single train pressure swing adsorption zone, each adsorption bed of the single train pressure swing adsorption zone comprises a plurality of adsorption beds using one cycle of adsorption step, two cycles or more of parallel flow equalization step comprising one cycle of final parallel flow step, one cycle of purification providing step, one cycle of back flow discharge step, one cycle of purification step, three cycles or more of back flow equalization step comprising one cycle of final back flow equalization step and one cycle of repressing step, the above steps are sequentially performed respectively in such a way that adsorption step is performed over the total time period of the adsorption step, the purification providing step is performed over the total time period of the purification providing step, and the purification step is performed over the total time period of the purification step, the time period of the purification step is longer than that of the adsorption step, the purification step comprises an adsorption bed performing purification step for receiving purified gas from one or more of the other adsorption beds performing the purification providing step, the other adsorption bed provides adsorption bed performing the purification step at the same time, wherein the number of adsorption beds performing the adsorption step exceeds the number of adsorption beds performing purification step at anytime.
