MONOPOLE ANTENNA APPLICABLE TO MULTIPLE-INPUT MULTIPLE-OUTPUT SYSTEM

A monopole antenna applicable to an MIMO(Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) system is provided to minimize a size of an array antenna by reducing an interference between the antennas by increasing a distance between the antennas. A monopole antenna applicable to an MIMO system includes a ground unit(140), a monopole antenna element(110), a sub antenna element(120), and a short circuit unit(130). The ground unit(140) is made of a plate type metal. The monopole antenna element(110) is connected to one side of the ground unit(140), and has a plurality of bent strips. The sub antenna element(120) is connected to one side of the ground unit(140), and is arranged adjacently to the monopole antenna element(110). The auxiliary antenna element(120) is electrically connected to the monopole antenna element(110). The short circuit unit(130) is mutually connected to the monopole antenna element(120) and the auxiliary antenna element(120).
