A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize oxygen and moisture flowed from the outside by having a moisture absorbent formed on a space between a first region and a second region. A display device includes an insulation substrate(100), a display unit, a cover substrate(120), a filler, a heating line(150), and a moisture absorbent(160). The display unit is formed on the insulation substrate(100). The cover substrate(120) is adhered to be opposite to the insulation substrate(100). The filler is interposed between the insulation substrate(100) and the cover substrate(120). The filler has a first region and a second region separated from the first region and is formed along a circumference of the first region. The moisture absorbent(160) is formed on a space between the first region and the second region. The heat line(150) is formed inside the moisture absorbent(160).
