<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly control a displaying electronic apparatus having a display device and a variety of external electronic apparatuses connected to it by operation through a remote controller attached to the displaying electronic apparatus or the displaying electronic apparatus without regard to a system of connection. <P>SOLUTION: Two-dimensional anode synchronization signals generated by the external electronic apparatuses 21 to 24, a control code for controlling the apparatuses and its icon data are mixed to be a video signal and transferred to a TV receiver 1. The TV receiver 1 separates the control code from the video signal, mixes them again as a menu picture and displays it. An operator performs selection operation of control using the remote controller for the TV receiver 1 to the menu picture. The TV receiver 1 generates a remote controlling code of a selected control content and supplies it to connected remote controllers 61 to 64.
