<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device and its drive method. <P>SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes a plasma display panel and a scanning electrode driver. The plasma display panel comprises a plurality of discharge cells, formed between a front substrate and a rear substrate, address electrodes which extend in a first direction corresponding to the discharge cells, and sustaining electrodes and scanning electrodes which extend in a second direction of crossing the first direction and are arranged alternately in the first direction, corresponding to the discharge cells. Here, each of address electrodes corresponds to at least two kinds of discharge cells having mutually different hues, and the scanning electrode driver impresses a scan pulse to the scanning electrode so that it temporally adjoins the scanning electrode corresponding to the discharge cell having the same hue in the first direction.
