<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that underwater photographing can not be continued if there is no spare adapter ring when the projecting part of the adapter ring is worn and a ratchet idly rotates. <P>SOLUTION: First and second projecting part groups 40-1 and 40-2 comprising a plurality of first and second projecting parts 40-1a and 40-2a, and first and second positioning marks 40-1c and 40-2c are formed on the outer periphery of the adapter ring 40. By arranging a first positioning mark 42-1 at a corresponding index and fitting the adapter ring 40 to the photographic lens barrel, the first projecting part group 40-1 is arranged at a position where it meshes with the claw 22-3a of the ratchet on a waterproof protector side. If the first projecting part 40-1a is worn because of meshing with the claw 22-3a of the ratchet and then the ratchet 22-3 idly rotates, the second positioning mark 42-2 is arranged at a corresponding index and the adapter ring is fit to the photographic lens barrel, whereby the second projecting part 40-2a is arranged at a position where it meshes with the claw 22-3a of the ratchet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
