<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a flat hinge with a catching mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: First and second folding links 42, 44 have connection link arms 42B, 44B, respectively, which are arranged to overlap each other and are connected by a common pivotal axis 43P. Both ends of these folding links are pivoted by a mounting bracket 20 on a side of a case 1 and by a socket 30 on the door 3 side, respectively. The catching mechanism 14 comprises a cam 50 pivoted by the socket 30 and mounted on a free link arm 44F of the second folding link, and a cam follower 60 arranged in the socket 30 to be freely slidable and urged toward the cam 50. The cam follower 60 is engaged with a first cam surface 52 of the cam 50 at a closed position of the door 3, and with a second cam surface 52 of the cam 50 at an opened position of the door 3. When the cam follower 60 goes over a third cam surface 66 upon closing of the door 3, it moves into a stable state, being a state of engagement with the first cam surface 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
