摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reduce the increment of fuel consumption by power generation while securing necessary electric power generation. <P>SOLUTION: This power generation controller acquires power cost (the increment of fuel consumption per unit electric power generation) by dividing the increment of fuel consumption rate by power generation by the electric power generation of a generator 16 in specified calculation cycles during operation of an engine, and computes a target power cost so that the charge/discharge income and expenditure of a battery 12 may be balanced based on data on the use frequency of the power cost, the average of the power cost, the average of a generative quantity, and the average power consumption. At this time, it a final target power cost is determined based on the target power cost computed at this-time travelling and the target power cost at the last travelling stored in the rewritable nonvolatile memory of the controller 11 until a sampling period (a period from the start of travelling to the present) at this-time travelling gets over a specified period. By this, accuracy in the final target power cost to be used for actual generation control can be secured even if the sampling period of the data at this-time travelling is short, thus a fuel consumption saving effect and a charge/discharge income and expenditure can be reconciled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
