PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a client terminal even when communication with a server is disconnected in a thin client system. SOLUTION: The client terminal 1 accumulates and holds document information received from a server 4 in a drawing log buffer 20. While disconnection of communication is determined by a communication state determination means 22 which determines the communication state with the server 4, a history display means 23 reproduces and displays a document image based on the accumulated and held document information on a display 17. An input event generated by a user's operation in the meantime is held in a preceding input buffer 21, and when restart of communication is determined by the communication state determination means 22, the input event is transmitted to the server 4 so as to be processed.
