PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the accident that the current position displayed on a display device extremely separates from a road. SOLUTION: When of the current position and travel azimuth calculated by dead reckoning processing where a relative displacement determined by a current position measuring section 12 using an onboard sensor 3 is added to the previously employed current position and travel azimuth output from a map match processing section 15, and the current position and travel azimuth included in GPS data sequentially output from a GPS receiver 2 to a reliability determining section 13, a selecting section 14 employs the current position and travel azimuth included in the GPS data as the current position and travel azimuth to be displayed on the display device of an output device 5, the map match processing section 15 starts the map match processing to correct the current position and travel azimuth, and a navigation processing section 16 makes the corrected current position and travel azimuth displayed on the display device of an output device 5.
