PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which allows little inclusion of dust and foreign substances into ink, can be readily assembled, and has sufficient strength. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 100 has a cartridge main body 120 having an open opening on one side surface; a lid 140 attached to the side surface and covering the opening; an engagement part 50b having an extending part extended from the lid 140 along another side surface adjacent to the side surface, a distal end part integrally formed at a distal end of the extending part and having a height higher than the extending part in the direction perpendicular to the other side surface, and a penetrating part provided in the extending part and penetrating therethrough in a direction perpendicular to the other side surface; and a caulking part 62b protruding from the cartridge main body 120 through the penetrating part in the direction perpendicular to the other side surface and caulked on the extending part.
