PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply system installed in an image recorder, wherein ink in each ink discharge port is set at a predetermined head, and pressure drops in ink supply passages to a plurality of recording heads are equalized. SOLUTION: The image recorder is provided with at least: a reservoir tank 2 storing ink supplied from an ink supply system 12; and an ink chamber 3 distributing and supplying ink supplied from the reservoir tank 2 to respective recording heads of a recording head group 4. The reservoir tank 2 holds a predetermined negative pressure state to ink in the plurality of ink discharge ports of each recording head via the ink chamber 3, and the ink chamber 3 supplies ink with the equalized pressure drop in the ink supply passages to each recording head of the recording head group 4.
