摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device provided with a self-diagnosis mode by which the liquid crystal display device having a large resistance of an ACF (Anisotropic Conductive Film) press-contacting part, a large VCOM wiring resistance or a large connection resistance of transfer electrodes can be distinguished by simple construction and operation. SOLUTION: The plurality of transfer electrodes and a plurality of common wiring lines VCOM1 and VCOM2 separately connected to the transfer electrodes are provided at a frame part on the periphery of a display region. The liquid crystal display device is provided with a self-diagnosis means outputting a VCOM signal common to the plurality of common wiring lines VCOM1 and VCOM2 from a counter electrode driving circuit part 35 in a usual operation mode and outputting a prescribed VCOM signal for diagnosis to one of the plurality of common wiring lines in a self-diagnosis mode and detecting a signal appearing in the other at least one common wiring line and comparing the VCOM signal for diagnosis with the appearing signal in the common wiring line to distinguish the magnitude of the common wiring resistance and connection resistance between the common wiring lines and a common electrode.
