PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin in which prevention of yellowing and reduction in gel or fish eyes have been achieved. SOLUTION: The polyamide resin comprises a diamine component mainly composed of m-xylylenediamine and a dicarboxylic acid component mainly composed of adipic acid, wherein a specific amount of a phosphate-based antioxidant and an alkali component are added, and a specific terminal-group concentration balance and amino-group reaction rate are achieved.
