PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller straightening device and method for a U-shaped steel sheet pile having an arm part between a flange part and a joint part. SOLUTION: At least one bending deformation is selectively and independently conducted to each of a web part and an arm part. The deformation is preferably conducted at least two times continuously to either of the arm part or the web part. Each of right and left joint parts is further preferably restricted from outside when conducting the deformation. At least two adjacent straightening rolls selectively apply rolling-reduction to the web part or the arm part of the U-shaped steel sheet pile. The straightening roll has a plurality of sleeves and arbors to which the sleeves are fitted. The sleeve has a roll surface, on which the shape of the cross section of the sleeve or the U-shaped steel sheet pile is partly carved, and has a roll diameter capable of loading rolling-reduction force to part of the cross section. The sleeve is fitted to the arbor so that the roll surface is positioned along the cross section of the U-shaped steel sheet pile. Lower rolls of the straightening rolls preferably restrict fluctuating movements of the U-shaped steel sheet pile in the width direction, and are further preferably attached rotatably to the arbors.
