PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a metal plate from molten metal using a pair of cooling rollers, which apparatus can suppress the generation of fractures, cracks, etc. on the side edges of the metal plate discharged from the cooling rollers. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a pair of cooling rollers 10, 12 facing to each other with a gap between them, and a nozzle 13 for supplying the molten metal toward the gap. The nozzle 13 has a pair of first side plates 18, 20 arranged in parallel with the rotation axes of the cooling rollers, and a pair of second side plates 14, 16 uprightly arranged on both side edges of the first side plates. The second side plates 14, 16 has high heat-conduction portions 14a, 16a which are arranged on the cooling roller side and have high heat conductivity, and low heat-conduction portions 14b, 16b which are arranged on the upstream side of the high heat-conduction portions and have low heat conductivity.
