PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device which maintains a good detecting function by a sensor unit. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the opening/closing device, a sensor unit 50b for detecting an object located on one side of an opening/closing body 10 toward a closing terminal, is supported by a guide rail 20 for guiding the opening/closing body 10 in a closing direction in a manner sliding in opening/closing body opening/closing directions, and the sensor unit is engaged with the opening/closing body 10 in a manner being opposed to the opening/closing body 10 and sliding in the opening/closing directions. The engagement is achieved by projections 12a1 formed on one of the sensor unit 50b and the opening/closing body 10, and recessed grooves 51a formed in the other one and slidably fitted onto the projections 12a1 in the opening/closing body opening/closing directions. Each recessed groove 51a has formed therein an abutting surface on which the projection 12a1 abuts when the sensor unit 50b opposed to the opening/closing body 10, slides to reach an opening terminal in the opening/closing body opening direction.
