PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lock box and a mounting structure of an operating member not requiring fixing of the operating member by inserting four set pins one by one. SOLUTION: The lock box and the mounting structure of the operating member are equipped with the lock box 11 built in a door, a first operating member 13 inserted from a mounting hole 27 formed in one side face of the door and fitted in the lock box 11, a second operating member 15 inserted from the mounting hole 27 formed in the other side of the door and fitted in the lock box 11, a pair of fixing holes 13c to 15c provided in the circumference of a lock box fitly inserted front end section of each of the first operating member 13 and the second operating member 15 and holding the center shaft of the mounting hole 27 and arranged on the surface parallel with the end face of the door and the set pins 17 inserted in the fixing holes 13c to 15c, a pair of set pins 17a and 17a inserted in the fixing holes 13c and 13c of the first operating member 13 and a pair of set pings 17b and 17b inserted in fixing holes 15c and 15c of the second operating member 15 are connected with connecting plate 19 in parallel with the end face.
