An airbag-device cover includes an interior panel for defining a part of an interior surface of a vehicle cabin, a door portion provided in the interior panel and arranged to be torn from the interior panel in response to inflation of an airbag so as to be opened outward, and a tear line surrounding the door portion so as to serve as a guide along which the door portion is torn. A frame is attached to the interior panel for surrounding the door portion, and welding ribs are formed on one of the interior panel and the frame such that the interior panel and the frame are attached to each other. The welding ribs include a trunk rib extending along the tear line and branch ribs extending from the trunk rib towards the tear line. |
